📜 Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Use and AI Disclaimer (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of app.profilesentinel.shop, the Profile Sentinel AI web application, associated analysis features, AI assistant functions, profile-scanning tools, evidence-import features and related services (together, the “Service”).
In these Terms, “Profile Sentinel AI”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the Service. “You” and “your” refer to the person using the Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
🛡️ What Profile Sentinel AI Does
Profile Sentinel AI is an evidence-led risk-screening and information-analysis tool. Depending on the features available, the Service may analyse publicly visible profile information, information voluntarily supplied by a user, and evidence imported by a user from an exporter or similar tool.
The Service may generate automated observations, summaries, warning signals, positive signals, uncertainties, recommended verification steps, confidence indicators and risk assessments. These outputs are designed to assist human review only.
Features may change, be added, removed, restricted or replaced as the Service develops.
👤 Eligibility and Authority
You may use the Service only if you are legally capable of entering into the agreement created by these Terms and your use is permitted by applicable law.
If you use the Service on behalf of a business, organisation or other legal person, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
You must not allow a child to use the Service in a manner that would result in unlawful collection, disclosure or processing of personal data.
📦 Data and Evidence You Submit
You are responsible for any URL, text, archive, image, export, document, profile evidence or other material you submit to the Service (“User Content”).
By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:
- you have a lawful basis, right or permission to access and submit it;
- your submission does not unlawfully infringe another person’s privacy, confidentiality, data-protection, intellectual-property or other rights;
- you will not use the Service to obtain access to information that you are not authorised to access;
- you will comply with our Acceptable Use Policy and applicable law.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to process User Content solely as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, troubleshoot and operate the Service, subject to our Privacy Policy.
🤖 Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer
The Service uses artificial intelligence and automated analysis. AI-generated output can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, inconsistent, misleading or based on insufficient evidence. The same evidence may reasonably support more than one interpretation.
AI output is not a statement of verified fact merely because it is presented confidently or assigned a score. You must independently evaluate important information and consider the quality, source, context and completeness of the underlying evidence.
The AI assistant is automated software, not a human investigator, solicitor, law-enforcement officer, regulated financial adviser, medical professional or licensed identity-verification provider.
📊 Risk Scores, Signals and Confidence
Risk scores, confidence levels and classifications are heuristics generated from available evidence and technical rules. They may be affected by private profiles, new accounts, incomplete pages, inaccessible content, scraping limitations, platform changes, temporary errors, false information, impersonation, synthetic media or missing context.
Positive signals may be fabricated by sophisticated actors. Warning signals may have innocent explanations. Absence of evidence is not evidence of authenticity, and limited evidence must not automatically be treated as suspicious.
You should interpret every result as an investigative prompt for further verification, not as a definitive conclusion about a person.
⚠️ Do Not Use as the Sole Basis for High-Stakes Decisions
You must not use Profile Sentinel AI output as the sole or determinative basis for decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on another person, including decisions concerning employment, housing, insurance, credit, education, healthcare, immigration, policing, criminal allegations or access to essential services.
You must not publicly accuse, identify, shame, threaten or harass a person solely because of an automated Profile Sentinel AI result.
Where a decision is important, obtain independent evidence, use appropriate professional or official verification channels, and provide meaningful human review where required by law.
✅ Compliance With the Acceptable Use Policy
Your use of the Service is also governed by the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Prohibited uses include stalking, harassment, doxxing, credential theft, unlawful surveillance, discriminatory profiling, bypassing access controls and attempts to obtain private information without authorisation.
🔑 Access Keys, Accounts and Security
If the Service uses access keys, accounts or other credentials, you must keep them secure and must not knowingly share them with unauthorised persons. You are responsible for activity carried out using credentials under your control unless applicable law provides otherwise.
You must notify us promptly if you reasonably believe an access key or account has been compromised. We may rotate, revoke or disable credentials where reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service or third parties.
©️ Intellectual Property
The Service, its software, interface, branding, original visual design, documentation and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to the operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service for its intended purpose.
You must not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, exploit or create derivative commercial services from protected elements of the Service except where such restriction is prohibited by law or you have our prior written permission.
🔗 Third-Party Platforms and Services
The Service may interact with or link to third-party websites, platforms, AI providers, hosting providers, analytics tools, browsers, reverse-image-search services or social-media services. Those third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
Profile Sentinel AI is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Facebook or Meta unless expressly stated. References to third-party trademarks are for identification or interoperability purposes only.
We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security or changes that are outside our reasonable control.
⚙️ Availability, Maintenance and Changes
We aim to provide a reliable Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or permanent availability. Public-profile extraction and analysis may fail or change because of third-party platform restrictions, anti-automation measures, network failures, browser changes, maintenance or other technical conditions.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, maintenance, abuse prevention or product development.
💳 Paid Features, Subscriptions and Consumer Rights
If paid features, subscriptions or digital services are offered, the price, billing period and material purchase terms presented at checkout form part of your agreement with us.
Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights relating to digital content or services, including rights concerning satisfactory quality, reasonable care and skill, conformity with description, remedies, cancellation or refunds where those rights apply.
Any promotional wording, refund policy or cancellation process must be read together with the mandatory rights available to you under applicable law.
⚖️ Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to the paragraph above, the Service is provided for evidence-led informational and screening purposes. We are not responsible for losses caused solely by your unreasonable reliance on an AI-generated result where you failed to undertake appropriate independent verification after being warned of the limitations of that result.
Where you use the Service for business purposes, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity or loss of goodwill arising from use of the Service.
🧩 Responsibility for Your Conduct
You are responsible for your own conduct, your interpretation of results and any action you take based on the Service. You must use reasonable judgement and comply with applicable privacy, data-protection, computer-misuse, harassment, intellectual-property and other laws.
For business users only, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Service or material breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
🚫 Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe it is necessary to address serious or repeated breaches of these Terms, unlawful conduct, security threats, abuse, fraud, attempts to bypass safeguards or material risk to other users or third parties.
Where appropriate and lawful, we may provide notice or an opportunity to remedy a breach. Immediate action may be taken where necessary to prevent harm, secure the Service or comply with law.
🏛️ Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except that if you are a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction, you retain the benefit of any mandatory protections provided by the law that applies to you.
The courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have as a consumer to bring proceedings in another competent court.
Before starting formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally.
🔄 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, regulation, the Service, security requirements or business practices. The effective date at the top of the document will be updated when changes are made.
Where a change materially affects existing users and notice is required, we will take reasonable steps to provide appropriate notice. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already accrued where the law prevents this.
